Playable game modes of Rowdy Wrestling

Solo Rumble

Like Big Shot Boxing, this sports game also features various game modes. The first one is Solo Rumble, which puts you against powerful wrestlers. That immediately creates a more chaotic situation than a one-on-one match. Instead of focusing on a single opponent, you need to keep track of several wrestlers and avoid getting surrounded. The biggest danger is losing awareness of what is happening around you. While you are attacking one opponent, another wrestler may approach from behind or take advantage of your position. One unusual feature of Solo Rumble is the baseball bat. At certain moments, the referee can offer a baseball bat. If you see the opportunity, grab it quickly and use it against your opponents. The bat gives you another way to deal damage in the middle of the chaotic fight. However, you still need to think about positioning. Holding a weapon does not guarantee victory if several opponents are attacking you simultaneously. Try to use the bat when you have enough space to attack without immediately being surrounded.

Solo Career

If you prefer a more structured challenge, Solo Career provides a progression through three wrestling events:

  • Bronze
  • Silver
  • Gold

You can select an event and choose your preferred wrestler before entering the fight. Each match pits you against a CPU-controlled opponent. Your objective is to defeat the opponent and score 3 points first. This makes Career Mode different from a chaotic rumble because you can focus more directly on your opponent and work toward a specific score. The Bronze league provides a natural starting point if you want to become familiar with the career format. You can use these early matches to understand how your chosen wrestler moves, attacks, and handles pressure. Rather than rushing through every fight, pay attention to how the CPU responds to your attacks. Learning when to strike and when to reposition can make later matches easier.

2P Rumble

2P Rumble introduces local multiplayer action. You and a friend can enter the wrestling battle together, but you will not be fighting only each other. Computer-controlled wrestlers also participate in the match. This creates a chaotic environment where you and your friend can temporarily work around the same opponents before turning your attention toward each other. The match continues until either you or your friend is taken down. The presence of computer-controlled wrestlers can make it tempting to focus entirely on defeating them. However, your friend is also looking for an opportunity to win. You need to pay attention to both sides of the fight. If your friend is distracted by another wrestler, you may have an opening to attack. Conversely, if you are focused on a CPU opponent for too long, your friend can take advantage of your vulnerability.

2P Versus

If you want a simpler head-to-head match, 2P Versus removes the computer-controlled wrestlers. You and your friend become the only competitors in the ring. Without additional fighters interfering, the match becomes a direct test of timing, movement, and attacking ability. Every mistake becomes easier to notice because there are no other wrestlers to distract either side. This mode is ideal when you want to settle a rivalry directly and determine who can control the ring more effectively. Besides, you can join another exciting wrestling match in Wrestle Bros.

Characters in Rowdy Wrestling

Another important part of this fighting game is the selection of characters. The game features several wrestlers with different characteristics. The available wrestlers include:

  • Joe Average provides a straightforward option for entering the ring.
  • Blaze gives you another character to try as you explore the game's roster.
  • Roe Steinmyer is described as being stronger than the previous boxers, giving you an option when you want greater physical power.
  • Albert The Large Man stands out as the strongest boxer in the listed roster. His strength can make him an appealing choice when you want to focus on powerful attacks.
  • Randal Vicious is known for having high HP.

These characters are not identical. Some are stronger, while others have advantages for health.
