Introduction to Minesweeper

Minesweeper is a timeless puzzle game that has captivated players for decades, offering a unique combination of simplicity, strategy, and logic.

How to play

The goal of the game is to clear all the tiles on the grid without detonating hidden mines. You must use your wits to deduce the location of these mines based on numerical clues and carefully mark or avoid them as more of them are revealed on the board. The challenge of the game lies in balancing risk with logic, as one wrong move can end the game instantly.

In the game, the grid is made up of squares, each of which can either hide a mine or be empty. The player's task is to safely flip all the empty tiles while avoiding the ones that contain mines. The game begins when you click on a tile, which will reveal a number, an empty tile, or if you are unlucky, a mine resulting in an instant game over.

Game Modes and Levels in Minesweeper

The game has 3 main modes for you to choose from:

Easy (9x9 grid with 10 mines): This mode is ideal for new players and those who want to play a quick, low-risk game. The smaller grid and fewer mines make it easier to learn the basics and understand how the number clues work.

Medium (16x16 grid with 40 mines): For those who want to improve their game, the intermediate grid is more complex. With more squares and a higher concentration of mines, this mode requires more careful analysis and logical thinking.

Hard (30x16 grid with 99 mines): The expert level is the real test of the player's skills, with large grids containing many mines. In this mode, even experienced players will find themselves challenged, as the stakes are higher and the margin of error is minimal.
